Accessibility statement
Last updated 14 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to check a vehicle with Vettly, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In particular, we aim for:
- Keyboard navigation, so you can use every page without a mouse.
- Visible focus, so you can always see where you are on the page.
- Colour contrast that makes text easy to read.
- Text alternatives for images, icons and charts, so screen reader users get the same information.
Known limitations
- Plate scanner. The scanner needs a camera. You can always type the registration instead, and you get exactly the same check.
- Mileage chart. The mileage chart is also provided as a table, so every reading is available without the chart.
- Card payments. You pay on a page run by Stripe, which we do not control. If you have any difficulty paying, contact us.
If you find a problem that is not listed here, please tell us.
Help and other formats
If you have difficulty using any part of Vettly, or you need information from the site or a report in a different format, email hello@vettly.co.uk or use our contact form. Tell us the page or registration, the problem you had and the format you need, and we will do our best to help.
