Affiliates
Affiliate terms
Plain terms for the Vettly affiliate programme. Questions: hello@vettly.co.uk.
1. Who we are
The Vettly affiliate programme is run by AI Programs Holdings Ltd, company number 17516543, registered in England and Wales. "We" means us; "you" means the affiliate.
2. Joining
Anyone over 18 can join. We can decline or pause an affiliate at any time, for example for breaking these terms, and will tell you why.
3. What counts
A customer counts as yours when they make their first purchase from vettly.co.uk within 90 days of following your link. We know customers by their email address. If they follow another affiliate's link afterwards, the latest link counts. Someone who has bought from us before is not a new customer. You cannot earn on your own purchases.
4. What you earn
15% of every order the customer pays for on vettly.co.uk in the 12 months from their first purchase: full checks, packs and seller packs. Free checks and redeemed codes earn nothing, because nothing is paid. Vettly Trade plans are not included.
5. When you are paid
Each amount is held for 30 days. If its order is refunded in that time, the amount is cancelled. After that it is due, and we pay what is due once a month by PayPal or UK bank transfer, once it comes to £25 or more. Anything below that carries over.
6. Tax
You are responsible for any tax on what you earn. If you are VAT registered, tell us and send an invoice for each payment.
7. How you promote us
Label everything you post with your link as an advert, for example by starting it with #ad or Ad, as UK advertising rules require for affiliate links. Be honest about what Vettly does and costs: make only the claims in the materials on your affiliate dashboard or on vettly.co.uk, at today's prices, and never say a check proves a vehicle is safe to buy. Do not send spam or cold or bulk email, or say you are Vettly or work for us. Do not bid on "Vettly" or our web address in paid search ads, or use our name in a domain or social account. Use our logo as shown on our brand page.
8. Ending
You can leave at any time by emailing us. If we end the programme or your place in it, we pay everything already due, except where it came from breaking these terms.
9. Changes
We may change these terms or the rate with 30 days' notice by email. Amounts already earned are paid as they were earned.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
